A piece which connects me to this wonderful land we call home with the deepest respect to the traditional custodians.
This piece is called Rainbow Spirit Bird 2 as we know the beautiful colourful rainbow coloured birds here in Australia. There is a song called Spirit bird by Xavier Rudd which made me cry when I first heard it. Not long after that I was able to paint beautiful murals for children in Primary schools of rainbow lorikeets and other native birds. I am certain the spirits of the elders fly around me daily when I paint and I am forever grateful for this. What a magical country. Made with love X
