Commission Wattle Song and When the Creek Flows

1. The Artwork: The collector is commissioning artist Belinda Nadwie to paint an artwork similar to “Wattle Song” style with slightly more subdued colours and some influence from "When the creek flows" colours on stretched canvas in oil paint, ready to hang with an oak frame. The Concept - The painting to tell a story — Wattle Song, When the Creek Flows, Rock Hopping and Baby I Will Follow You are my favourites for exactly that reason. Our lounge room needs some life. It gets no natural light, the lounge is a dark blue-grey and a very light grey/white, so at the moment it all feels a bit flat. I'd love something warm and pretty on the wall, not loud, since it's where we sit of an evening, but with enough colour to lift the room. What I'm picturing sits somewhere between them: the calm of 'When The Creek Flows', with the space in it, but the warmth of 'Wattle Song— the pinks and soft reds rather than the cooler greys. (From our phone conversation I will create a piece closer to Wattle Song with more subdued colours that tie in with your lounge area.) 

2. Requested dimensions: 200cm w x 120cm h plus floating frame.

3. Payment Schedule: 50% (non-refundable) deposit required prior to commencement of work and the other 50% to be paid prior to delivery

4. Delivery/Shipping: Included in cost. 

5. Payment Amount: The artist and the collector agree upon the amount of $4000.00

6. Estimated Time Frame: 8 - 10 weeks approx

7. © Copyright: Artist retains the copyright to all works commissioned by the collector that was created by artist, including all reproduction rights and the right to claim statutory copyright. No artwork may be reproduced or altered without the written consent of the artist.

8. Right of Refusal: In the event that the collector does not wish to purchase the commissioned artwork, the collector may refuse. In that case, the artist will retain the refused artwork and non-refundable deposit. This is free of any claims or interests of the collector and the collector will not owe any additional fees to the Artist
