Commission - Abstract

1. The Artwork: The collector is commissioning artist Belinda Nadwie to paint an artwork similar to “I've been searching for you” style with a specific colour palette on stretched canvas in oil paint, ready to hang with an oak frame.

Requested dimensions: 121cm w x 91cm h.

2. The Concept: To paint a piece similar design to “I've been searching for you” and these other favourites of the client here -

• Saltwater Dreaming 
• Seasonal Colours
• the softer neutral/taupe-toned commission pieces on your Instagram page (without the drip effect at the bottom - please see screenshot attached)
• the more delicate petal-textured works with movement and layering

in the above dimensions and to incorporate colours provided by client.

Colours to include soft green, aqua, white, duck egg blue, lighter brown, olive greys, very light and soft for bedroom. Further notes from client here- 

• sea glass / misted aqua tones
• soft sage and eucalyptus greens
• muted mineral blues
• warm whites and stone tones
• gentle taupe or earthy grounding tones
• perhaps the faintest hint of soft blossom tones if needed for warmth

3. Payment Schedule: 50% (non-refundable) deposit required prior to commencement of work and the other 50% to be paid prior to delivery

4. Delivery: Included in cost. 

5. Payment Amount: The artist and the collector agree upon the amount of $2300.00

6. Estimated Time Frame: 6 – 8 weeks approx

7. © Copyright: Artist retains the copyright to all works commissioned by the collector that was created by artist, including all reproduction rights and the right to claim statutory copyright. No artwork may be reproduced or altered without the written consent of the artist.

8. Right of Refusal: In the event that the collector does not wish to purchase the commissioned artwork, the collector may refuse. In that case, the artist will retain the refused artwork and non-refundable deposit. This is free of any claims or interests of the collector and the collector will not owe any additional fees to the Artist
